Kale, Chocolate, & Sun Butter Super Smoothie

This delectable smoothie was created by my gorgeous & health-minded friend, Terra. She said it is amazing – all the benefits of kale without tasting it!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds (Soaked for a few hours in 1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut milk)
  • 1 scoop Vega or other Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sunbutter (or your favorite nut butter)
  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups Fresh Kale, Rinsed 
  • 1 Medjool Date, Pitted
  • 3-4 Ice Cubes 
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Optional add-ins: Banana, vanilla, or Maca Powder 

Directions

  • Blend in your Vitamix, Magic Bullet, or Blender
  • Voila! 
  • Enjoy
