Cranberry & Matcha Smoothie | Nourished Existence

This is a super special smoothie recipe that my mom sent me. It must be delicious if it’s mom-approved, right!? She wanted it to be dubbed “The Madre Special.”

Cranberry & Matcha Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cranberry Water (urinary tract health)
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (currently using Vanilla Raw Meal)
  • 1 cup Fruit (1/2 Banana & Frozen Blueberries this morning)
  • 1 tsp Flax Seed Oil (Omega-3)
  • 1 tsp Maca Powder (energy)
  • 1 tbsp Matcha Leaves (energy)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon (allergies)
  • 1/2 tsp Local Honey (allergies)
  • 1/2 tsp Date Paste or 1 Pitted Date (yum factor!)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric (multifaceted health benefits)
  • 1 tsp Flax Seed

Directions

  • Add all ingredients, except Flax Seed, into blender
  • Add 1 tsp ground flax seed
  • Pulse
